Senior Trainer (Tax)

TaxBanter is an innovative training organisation, valuing employee satisfaction and progression. We are looking for a Senior Tax Trainer in Melbourne who will be responsible for delivering technical taxation seminars and interactive face-to-face or online workshops to a diverse range of clients across a broad geographical area.

About the role

The Senior Tax Trainer is responsible for delivering technical taxation seminars and interactive face-to-face or online workshops to a diverse range of clients across a broad geographical area.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Deliver training to clients at the time and location as directed by the training operations scheduling system.
  • Attend and participate in Tax Banter’s internal team and technical meetings.
  • Maintain technical tax skills through professional development and conducting your research.
  • Maintain & update skills and awareness of current training best practices, instructional design principles, and training technologies.
  • Assist and participate in product and project development

Essential qualifications and experience

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage several projects.
  • Strong presentation skills to deliver professional, engaging, and practical training.
  • A passion for teaching, coaching, and mentoring.
  • A professional, positive, and can-do attitude.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to change.
  • Tertiary Qualification in a discipline relevant to taxation, such as LLB or BCom.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a specialist tax role.
  • Previous experience as a trainer or coach role would be advantageous.
